Stuart G. Lasher

Stuart is a CPA who began his career in 1980 with KPMG Peat Marwick where he was responsible for audits in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution, restaurants and service businesses. He also assisted with many mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings (IPOs).

From 1986 to 1989, he was Chief Financial Officer and served on the Board of Directors of Silk Greenhouse, a national retailer which grew from 6 to 90 stores and $6-million to $200-million in sales. As CFO, Stuart completed venture capital financing in 1987, an IPO in 1988, and a secondary offering in 1989.

In 1990, Stuart Co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of National Business Solutions, which was sold to Paychex in 1996.

In 2001, Stuart made a growth capital investment in Lifestyle Family Fitness. From 2008 to 2012, Stuart acted as Chairman of the Board and from 2010-2012 acted as CEO, helping facilitate total raised equity of $55mm and a $50mm credit line from a syndicate of banks. Led the ultimate sale of the business to LA Fitness and Life Time Fitness.

In 2015, Stuart assisted Life Time Fitness in taking the company private with Leonard Green & Partners, TPG and LNK for $4.0 billion.

Currently, Stuart serves on the board of Life Time Fitness, Northern Oil & Gas and Fitlife Foods and numerous not-for-profit organizations.
